Weather measuring equipment is located on the RWY 21 windsock upright, approximately 65m E of the runway threshold.

An AWIB broadcasts on frequency 130.45MHz and includes time, wind velocity and gust strength, MSL pressure*, temperature, dew point, and other relevant messages.

*MSL pressure information is not a certified QNH source.

Please report AWIB issues to the flight office, or North Shore Base on frequency 118.00MHz.

Turbulence and wind-shear can be expected in S/SW/W/NW wind conditions in the area of the RWY 21 approach path.
